Hello fellow and future clients,
My name is Ciara Jarrett and I am excited to work with you all. I know you would love some background history on my experience as a coach and athlete, so here you go.
I have previous coaching experience at St. Cloud State University (D2), University of Wisconsin-Stout (D3) and Oakland University (D1). I have helped all programs improve appearances on a conference and national championships in the short sprints. Moreover, I increased final appearances with the short sprint event group. I have technical knowledge, previous high school, and private coaching experience with long jump, high jump, triple jump, as well as sprints. During my college years I had a successful career as a former Division I Track and Field Athlete at Youngstown State University. I was awarded Youngstown State’s 2013-2014 Women’s Vindicator Student-Athlete of the year, as well as became the first YSU athlete to win the same event four consecutive years at the league championships, winning the 200-meter dash. I assisted my team in winning three indoor and outdoor Horizon League conference championships. I currently hold my USATF Level 1 Certification, USTFCCCA Sprints, Hurdle, & Relay Event Specialist Certification, and Advanced Endorsement Strength and Conditioning Coaching Certification. I am currently in the process of receiving my USATF Level 2 and USTFCCCA Jumps Specialist Certification. My undergraduate degree is in social work and sociology which I received from Youngstown State University and my masters is in college counseling and student development which I received from St. Cloud State University.
